Dennis van Vugt becomes Managing Director Born05
Co-founder of Born05, Dennis van Vugt, is the new managing director of Born05. He succeeds Edward Knol, who in the past two years led the agency successfully through the corona crisis. For the past ten years Van Vugt was the creative director of Born05. He is determined to develop Born05 further as a digital brand agency, both nationally and internationally.
Van Vugt is known for his own signature, intense commitment and focus on meaningful work. Apart from being creative director at Born05, he was also vice chairman of SIRE in the past years, where Born05 developed the campaign ‘Let’s talk about that’ under his supervision.
“In the past years Dennis has developed our agency to a digital brand agency”, says Rogier IJzermans, CEO of Ace (the mother agency of Born05). “Having Dennis as a new fresh MD, Born05 will follow a more substantive course, which suits the maturity of the agency and the zeitgeist of today’s market. Nowadays, intrinsically driven people and projects make a difference. In that respect Dennis is one of a kind. I know him as a substantive leader who like no other knows how to build strong teams to realize true impact for brands. Always from the heart. I am really proud of this step.”
